Solitaire Motors, as we were originally known, started in December 1971 as a small used-car operation. Despite these humble beginnings, right from the outset, we were driven to excel in every facet of customer service. The natural result of this dedication is that we slowly attracted the attention of some of the world ’s most impressive marques, allowing us to grow with their addition over the last 40 years into one of Australia’s leading luxury-car dealerships.

Today, as Solitaire Automotive, we now hold the exclusive Adelaide franchises for names synonymous with British and European excellence: Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, Jaguar, Land Rover, Škoda, Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercial and Volvo.

For the convenience of our customers, Solitaire has three handy locations. Having undergone a lavish redevelopment, our Hawthorn showrooms provide a spectacular setting for new and used examples of Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, Jaguar, Land Rover, Volkswagen and Volvo vehicles. In our Medindie sales centre, it’s Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercial and Škoda that take pride of place.

Selling an exotic vehicle is one thing; servicing it, quite another. Our state-of-the-art service centre at Mile End, therefore, was built in partnership with some of the world’s finest car manufacturers in order to satisfy their exacting demands for technical excellence and customer satisfaction.

Here, 40 factory-trained personnel and 41 work bays are backed up by an equally impressive parts department, which stocks a comprehensive cache of parts onsite.
